CURRICULUM
The curriculum used in Bintang Mandiri School is a curriculum 2010 recommended by the government with some additional activities to broaden the child.

TEACHING & LEARNING ACTIVITIES
Bintang Mandiri School uses PAKEM (Active, Creative, Effective, and Fun Learning) teaching method. Children have the opportunity to select the desired activity that has been prepared by the teacher. Children will be directed to work independently with teacher supervision by using simple bilingual teaching.

ENGLISH
Given in accordance of children's age by an English teacher. Emphasis on vocabulary (vocabulary) and simple sentences. Teaching method also using VCD media, flash cards, story books, and puppet.

BAHASA MANDARIN
Taught by teachers who have experience in teaching Mandarin. Emphasis on vocabulary, simple sentences, and in the writing of Mandarin simple characters.

MATH FOR KIDS
The introduction of the basic concepts of mathematics with the Jari Magic program.

COMPUTER
Children are taught computer basic usage such as the introduction of computer parts and mouse usage that is useful to train the child's fine motoric skills. The computer program has also been adapted to the curriculum 2010.

BRAIN GYM
This activity is carried out every day in the classroom at the beginning of class as brain stimulation for children to be ready to accept and follow the learning activities.

AUDIO VISUAL
The program has been incorporated into the teaching and learning activities. The movies given in accordance with the age of the child and helps develop the child's basic abilities to the fullest.

WORSHIPS
This activity is held once a month, every full moon where the Hindus students wearing traditional dress and held a joint worship at the school temple. For Christian students held a joint worship and thus also the Moslem students learn to pray, surat, and read al-Qu'ran.

PER-THEME CHILDREN PROGRESS REPORT
Parents will receive a plan of activities and lessons that will be learned by their children in an ongoing theme, with hope of parents guidance for their children to learn at home.

SWIMMING
Held every week (adjusted with weather conditions and children health).

HEALTH EXAMINATION
This activity is held once per semester. Parents will be invited to accompany their children so that if there are important things they can be directly asked.

PRESENTATION / CLASS PROJECT
This activity is an event for children to demonstrate the capabilities of what they've learned in front of parents. Performed in the semester 2 break.

SEMINAR FOR PARENTS
Schools will hold seminars for parents. The speakers are education or child development experts. This program is mandatory for each parents.

IQ OR SQ TEST
This activity is carried out by psychologists, where the schools as an intermediary.

PSYCHOLOGIST CONSULTING
Parents are given the opportunity to consult about child development with the school psychologist. Held once a year during the semester break.

EXTRACURRICULAR
Additional studies program that held every Friday after the school hours. There are several choices including dance, vocal, modeling, drawing, taekwondo, baleganjur, and swimming. Each child must choose one of them.

FAMILY GATHERING
The event purpose is to build and foster good relationships between the school and parents, and is held once a year.

CHILD INSURANCE
All students of Bintang Mandiri School is included in the insurance program paid by the school.
